Vision:
IHO develops affordable ownership, rental, single family and multifamily
housing which benefits extremely low-income (at or below 30% of the area
median income), very low-income (31% - 50% of the area median income),
low-income (51% - 80% of the area median income) and moderate-income
(81% - 120% of the area median income).
IHO’s guiding values:
1. That every person deserves a place to live;
2. Affordable housing should be safe, clean, well maintained; and
3. Housing should help residents maintain generational roots, and keep
neighborhood and community ties.
What Difference Do We Make?:
IHO’s clients are able to experience independent living and remain
independent for a longer time span. Clients and residents are able to maintain
community and family ties, and have intergenerational interaction which helps
reduce isolation.
